(Quick Tip Video) Installing ICC profiles on a Mac and Windows
If printing and color are important to you, ICC profiles will make all the difference in getting the results you desire! Here is a quick video and instructions of how to install ICC profiles on both Mac and Windows platforms.

Mac Instructions
1) Download the ICC Profile you wish to use.
Go to www.aldertech.com/support/icc/ to find a list of free Epson and Hahnemuhle profiles. From here choose your printer and media type and select “download profile” to the specified folder of your choice.
2) Locate your downloaded profile and double click the zip file to extract the folder
3) Open the extracted ICC profile folder
Inside the extracted folder will be an ICC profile along with a text or PDF readme file. Your ICC profile has an icc file extension.
4) Control click on the ICC profile and copy it
5) Go to the Finder bar under the Go menu and select Computer
6) Once in the Computer folder go to the profile folder following this path:
Macintosh HD > Library > Colorsync > Profiles
In this folder there will be system profiles and profiles that may have been installed by your printer manufacturer. This is the folder that ICC aware programs look in for profiles.
7) Paste the ICC that you copied earlier in this folder
8) Now, any ICC aware program such as Photoshop should recognize your profile
Windows Instructions
1) Download the ICC Profile you wish to use
Go to www.aldertech.com/support/icc/ to find a list of free Epson and Hahnemuhle profiles. From here choose your printer and media type and select “download profile” to the specified folder of your choice.
2) Locate your downloaded profile, right click, and select "Extract All" or use a program of your choice to unzip the ICC profile
3) Open the extracted ICC profile folder
Inside the extracted folder will be an ICC profile along with a text or PDF readme file. Your ICC profile has an icc file extension.
