When placing an order at aldertech.com/shop you can expect fast delivery. Orders placed before the cut-off times at each of our distribution centers will ship the same day.

$15.00 Flate-Rate Standard Shipping

Alder Technology provides a flat shipping rate of $15.00 for all of its customers in the United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. That rate includes UPS Ground, and standard courier shipments.

No matter how large the order, the $15.00 flat rate will apply, and printer shipments from Alder Technology are still free. Orders will continue to go out the same day and arrive quickly from one of Alder Technology’s 15 nationwide distribution centers. Express shipping is available by calling us at 503-226-7598 (standard rates apply). We will be happy to provide express guaranteed shipping options and rates.

Alder Technology wants you to be 100% satisfied with every product you order. We guarantee that all products will be shipped to you free of defects in material and workmanship.

Should you receive material that exhibits defects in material or workmanship, Alder Technology will provide a full refund or no-cost replacement if you notify us in writing within 30 days from the date you received your order.

Please open each shipment promptly so that any problems can be resolved within the 30-day guarantee.

How To Request a Refund or Replacement Product

At Alder Technology, our goal is to make every part of your experience with us a pleasant one. We know that having to deal with a return can be an interruption to your business, and that is why we have implemented a simple process that ensures you will receive your refund or product replacement in a timely manner. To begin the process, please contact us within 30 days of purchase at 503-226-7598. You are assured to get a live voice to help you through the process.

Obtaining a Return Authorization Number

Prior to returning a product please obtain a Return Authorization number from us. Once the return has been approved, you will receive a Return Authorization (RA) number to help you track the return through the process and to ensure proper credit is received. Shipping instructions for the returned item(s) will be provided at the time the Return Authorization number is issued. Please follow these instructions closely.

All returns must be labeled with the RA number in order to insure credit. Do not write directly on the product, it must be in resalable condition or Alder Technology will not accept it. Reference the number on the shipping label. Product is then shipped back to the address received with your RA.

Types of Returns and What You Can Expect

Ordering Error Claims

We understand that items are sometimes ordered in error and we are happy to help you when this occurs. We simply ask that you return the items in the original packaging. We will then re-ship the correct product for the applicable shipping fees, rather than the flat rate, plus a 15% re-stock fee to cover the cost of the return. If the original packaging has been damaged please notify us when you initiate the return.

Damaged or Lost Shipment Claims

Please take a moment to inspect your shipments when they arrive. If the packaging is damaged and the enclosed item appears to be damaged, it’s important that you keep the original package and call us to file a claim with the carrier. Alder Technology will only file claims on orders shipped with Alder Technology shipping accounts.

Manufacturing Defect Claims

When a product is thought to contain a manufacturing defect, we may request that photos or samples be provided for evaluation prior to a Return Authorization number being issued.

Alder Technology Shipping Error Claims

We ask that you make a claim with us within five working days from the delivery date in order to ensure a refund can be issued or a replacement product can be sent.

Order Cancellations

Due to the quick turn around time in which orders are processed, we cannot guarantee the cancellation of an order.

These are the published policies and are subject to their specific terms and conditions and may change without notice.

FedEx Claims

Claims for FedEx shipments damaged in transit, non-delivery, or denial of signature are required within 15 days of the original invoice and the original shipping carton must be retained. FedEx reserves the right to inspect the damaged product to finalize the claim.

UPS Claims

Claims for UPS shipments damaged in transit are required within 30 days of the original invoice and the original shipping carton must be retained. UPS reserves the right to inspect the damaged product to finalize the claim.

Additional Information

To ensure proper credit to your account, all returns must be made in their original packaging with all of the original pieces, packaging materials, software, accessories, manuals and all other contained material.

Limitations

If the returned material is found to be free of defects and isn’t covered by a warranty, Alder Technology reserves the right to accept the material and charge a 15% restocking fee.

30-Day Warranty

For a period of 30 days from the time an order is received by the customer, Alder Technology warrants that all goods shipped from Alder Technology will be free of defects in materials and workmanship. This is the sole and exclusive limited warranty offered for products ordered from Alder Technology. Alder Technology does not warrant any product for suitability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Exclusions

Alder Technology and its officers, agents, and contractors shall bear no liability whatsoever for statutory, general, special, consequential, or tort damages with respect to uses of products purchased, including loss of profits, business, or goodwill. Alder Technology shall in no way be liable for any damages for any reason whatsoever that would exceed the replacement value of the material.
