Notice — Deadline Passed. The Fiery XF 2026 Essential Update deadline was April 14, 2026. If your Fiery XF server was not updated before that date, the functionality below is already affected. Applying the update resolves it — contact us if you need help.

Fiery XF 2026 Essential Update Was Required (Versions 7.0–8.0.5)

Due to essential system updates at Fiery, LLC. that took effect on April 14, 2026, all versions of Fiery XF 7.0–8.0.5 needed to be updated with the Fiery XF 2026 Essential Update. Fiery XF servers that were not updated can no longer:

  • Access available updates on the Fiery Online Updater
  • Access available profiles on the Fiery Profile Updater
  • Activate new product configurations, or product and printer option licenses

If your server is affected, applying the Fiery XF 2026 Essential Update restores this functionality.

Windows and SMSA Expiration Notice

In addition, Fiery XF users on certain Windows operating systems — whether their SMSA is valid or expired — no longer see the SMSA expiration date unless they take action. Resolving this requires updating the Windows operating system and, in some cases, updating Fiery Command WorkStation or Fiery XF.
